St. Charles Parish Schools strive for academic excellence on a daily basis which gives the credit to being one the top school systems in the state of Louisiana. The design of the Luling Elementary school addition was to provide a new building that would fit into the existing vernacular of the school's campus. This building was designed using the latest technology and materials yet achieving the look of a building that has been there for years. The 53,755 sq. ft. school addition provided the campus with a new administrative area centrally located on the site to increase visibility  for safe schools. The three other buildings built during the additions included one kindergarten wing, a first grade wing, and a special needs building. All new structures built were made of low manufactured CMU walls with brick veneer. The design of the four buildings created a secure courtyard for recess and school activities.
