The 215 Bourbon project consisted of renovating a structure that dates back to the 1890’s. This project, being affiliated Galatoire’s (a famous restaurant on Bourbon Street), is the new home for Galatoire’s 33 Bar and Steak. The renovated structure consists of 3 separate floors offering added squarefootage to the existing Galatoire’s restaurant on the second floor, the new Galatoire’s 33 Bar and Steak on the first floor, and private dining / wine room, office space, and meeting rooms on the third floor. Having to deal directly with the New Orleans Vieux Carre Commission, the aesthetic nature of this facility became simple and elegant with a strong concentration put towards the French Quarter Style and its predecessor next door. The 11,756 square foot facility provides a focal point for future designed buildings within the Greater New Orleans area.
