In order to expand their facility, St. Charles Parish Hospital had to think of an alternate solution from their existing location located in Luling, LA. A site at the intersection of Riveroad and Interstate 3-0 had been chosen for their new medical office building. Given an extensive program of many different occupational suites and a client that really liked the idea of a New Orleans style building being developed in St. Charles Parish, the French Quarter style of architecture was chosen. The French quarter vernacular adapts to a program of many different occupational suites. The suites included in the program for the medical office building are as follows: a MRI Center, an Urgent Care Facility, a Pharmacology Suite, a GI Center, and an Internal Medicine Suite just to name a few. With this new facility, St. Charles Parish Hospital will be able to continue to grow and provide for the community around them.
