This roofing project consisted of installing a retrofit roof system over the existing flat roof. This included the relocation of the existing HVAC equipment as well as plumbing penetrations. In an effort to reduce the number of penetrations in the roof, we provided chases for the plumbing vents to be connected and then penetrated the roof only once. The Harry Hurst Roof Replacement posed a unique challenge being that the main roof of the campus and the cafeteria roof were two different heights. This resulted in a retrofit standing seam roof to coincide with existing aesthetics.
