St. Charles Parish School District



St. Charles Parish Public Schools expressed the need for a covered playground system for their public schools around the parish. The design shown expresses a simple covered area, achieved through a pre-engineered metal structure, that allows students to escape harsh weather during times of play. A 2.25 million dollar budget allowed for multiple strucutres to be built at different St. Charles Parish Schools including: New Sarpy Elementary, Ethel Schoeffner Elementary, and Norco Elementary. Under the structure includes a brushed concrete finished floor housing 6 basketball goals including a full size basketball court.
